Cam Activated Reset Limiter – Works With Super Safeties

$145.00

Behold:

The CARL.

The Cam Activated Reset Limiter is a drop-in, patent pending, no-modification-required system for your existing AR-15 Super Safety that extends the release of your trigger every time three rounds are fired. This helps slows down the user’s cadence, allowing for target re-acquisition and potentially reducing the rate at which ammunition is expended (depending on the user, of course).

Think of it this way: You fire, you fire again, you fire a third time, and now the CARL prevents your Super Safety from resetting your trigger and requires you to hyper-extend your trigger release in order to affect a reset.

The CARL is only designed to work with standard Mil-Spec triggers or triggers using a Hoffman Tactical-Style AR-15 Super Safeties. It does NOT work with RareBreed FRT’s. We recommend either the AS Designs Arc-Fire system, which can be found HERE, or the Atrius Development FRS, which can be found HERE. We are not associated with AS Designs or Atrius, just fans of the systems. The CARL will work with OG design Super Safeties, such as the original Hoffman Tactical push-button variety.

The CARL is NOT a Super Safety by itself, nor is it a Forced Reset Trigger; it only works in conjunction with a Super Safety. When installed with a mil-spec, non-Super Safety trigger, the CARL still functions normally. The CARL is not compatible or functional with full-auto trigger components.

Please note that this does NOT include a Super Safety.

While installation is straight-forward and very simple, it should be performed by a licensed and competent gunsmith.
